Sophia Noel is a contemporary dancer, award-winning filmmaker, and storyteller known for fusing Hip-Hop, Salsa, Swing, and Ballet into electrifying performances. Her work captures powerful cross-cultural narratives through choreography, writing, and film.

After five years in Tokyo, she now calls New York City home, serving as a choreographer-in-residence at Gibney and working in Partnerships at ElevenLabs. Sophia holds a BA in Art History from Columbia University (roar lion roar).

From the world of numbers and deadlines to stages and screens, this is the story of my journey—of embracing risk, reimagining identity, and learning to dance in the face of uncertainty.
